We are thrilled to announce that Agnieszka Sznyk, President of INNOWO, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Coordination Group of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) - the leading European hub for circular economy collaboration.
This is an exceptional honour and a profound vote of confidence from representatives of business, science, public administration, civil society and EU institutions who together form the ECESP community.
Why is this so important?
ECESP, established by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee, is the key space where all stakeholders engaged in the circular transition come together.
The Platform plays a crucial role in accelerating the implementation of circular economy solutions across Europe - both in policy and in real business practice.
ECESP: A “Network of Networks” Driving Circular Transformation
As a network of networks, ECESP goes beyond sector-specific initiatives to highlight cross-sector opportunities and interconnections. It serves as a meeting place where stakeholders can:
share effective circular solutions,
scale up successful practices,
address common challenges, and
collaborate across national, regional and local levels.
The Platform connects diverse initiatives from across Europe and supports the practical implementation of the circular economy.
Its mission is to make the circular economy a reality by:
driving circular practices across Member States, regions, cities, civil society and businesses
strengthening cooperation among stakeholder networks to accelerate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, good practices and lessons learned
identifying social, economic and cultural barriers to the circular transition to help inform policymaking at all governance levels.
Strategic decisions are taken by the Steering Group, composed of representatives of the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), and the ECESP Co-Chairs - now including Agnieszka.
