We are happy to share that Circular Week 2026 will take place between 26th – 31th of October across Europe, bringing together cities, practitioners, researchers, businesses, citizens and policymakers working on circular and climate-resilient urban transformation.

This edition of the Circular Week is hosted by INNOWO in collaboration with the Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP).

Building on strong collaboration and local experiences from different European regions, Circular Week 2026 will get to the heart of the circular transition through site visits, genuine exchange and open discussions that explore how cities and regions are:

  • advancing circular and resilient urban systems,

  • decarbonising industry and logistics,

  • shaped by sustainable circular innovations,

  • turning circular economy policies into practical, place-based solutions.

While this year’s programme grows out of a Polish – German collaboration, Circular Week 2026 is conceived as a European platform, open to circular economy partners, drivers, pioneers and practitioners from across Europe who wish to share experiences, contribute case studies and connect ongoing initiatives to increase positive impact.

If you would like to become a partner of Circular Week or organise your own Circular Week event, we invite you to get in touch and join the initiative. Reach out to share your interest.

More information on dates, locations and programme highlights will follow soon. Save the date and be part of Europe’s circular ambition turning into urban reality!

Circular Week 2026: Turning Europe’s Circular Ambition into Urban Reality

Circular Week is an international series of events and initiatives dedicated to the circular economy and sustainable development, taking place across Europe. The aim of Circular Week is to promote the concept of a closed-loop economy, support sustainable business models, and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

In 2026, the initiative will celebrate its 9th edition. This year, Circular Week takes on a new dimension, as it will be organised for the first time as a joint German–Polish initiative, strengthening international cooperation and knowledge exchange.

The German–Polish Circular Week 2026 will take place from 26 to 31 October, with events organised in Aachen, Duisburg, Wuppertal, Warsaw, and partner cities across Poland. The programme will focus on key topics such as urban space, construction, material circularity, and regional transformation strategies, fostering cross-border dialogue and collaboration in support of the circular transition.
