CIRCULAR WEEK 2025 is coming!

Only one week left until the start of Circular Week 2025 – the largest European event dedicated to the circular economy, sustainable development, and the green transition. From 3–7 November 2025, Warsaw will become the center of Europe’s debate on the future of our planet. Experts from around the world, along with representatives of business, academia, public administration, and NGOs, will come together to explore solutions that can accelerate the transition toward a circular economy.

The event will feature leading experts from Poland and abroad – including representatives of the European Commission, the Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, the Ministries of Agriculture of Poland, France and the Netherlands, as well as embassies, businesses, financial institutions, and local governments – all united in seeking pathways to a sustainable transformation.

- Circular Week is a space for collaboration and knowledge exchange between the key drivers of change – business, government, and science. Together, we show that the transition to a circular economy is not only a necessity but also a tremendous opportunity for innovation and the development of the economy of the future - says Agnieszka Sznyk, President of the Institute of Innovation and Responsible Development (INNOWO), the organizer of the event.

As Wiktoria Ogonowska, Sustainability Manager at IKEA Retail Poland and one of the speakers at the European Sustainability Congress 2025, emphasizes:

- In the face of environmental challenges, including resource scarcity, the transition from a linear to a circular model is a necessity. It cannot be achieved alone, which is why stakeholder engagement across the entire value chain and collaboration driven by a common goal are particularly important -

The discussions during Circular Week 2025 will also address financing the green transition. Experts will highlight the need for greater support for circular business models:

- Investing in circular business models accelerates the shift to a low-carbon economy and strengthens Europe’s industrial competitiveness. This approach unlocks innovation and sustainable growth opportunities - notes Bartosz Silczak, Head of ESG Risk Office at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK).

Circular Week 2025 will feature 7 thematic conferences, with its highlight being the European Sustainability Congress (5 November) – a gathering of circular transformation leaders from across Europe.

Participation in all events is free of charge, but registration is required: www.circularweek.org

The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Mayor of Warsaw, the Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, and the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
